A Brisk Wind and Beautiful Sunset!

It was a slightly breezy and cool night with some favorite people of mine when we headed for the beach to catch a glimpse of the tide before sunset.  With the glorious light of the sunset, fabulous God-made scenery, and this wonderful family, it was something special!  I could not be happier with these and am very blessed for the time I got to spend with them in Galveston.  I love all of you very much and am blessed to be apart of your lives... Edgar, Stephanie, Gabby and Jaden!    

500 Days of Summer

Well, as the summer is quickly coming to a close and the memories, but a page in the scrapbook. I cannot help but ponder on some of life's greatest treasures... I wonder how many of you ever sit back, relax, and smell the fresh summer air as it flies on bye?... I love the fresh scent of summer night air; it reminds me of summer camps, cook outs, birthday parties, drive-in movies, camping, and most of all, wonderful times with family and friends. Times that never seemed to be a big issue growing up or fly bye too quickly, but as I have become older, those times have seemed to pass much faster than they used too. And time itself has become much more of the essence and seems to fade quicker and quicker every year and those precious times with the family and friends seem to vanish in a blink of an eye and are only fingerprinted with a snapshot of a camera. And so as time continues to quickly pass and seasons change, I cannot help, but sit and think what new memories will be made and what the new fresh scent of summer air will hold in store for me in the years to come. But before I become to anxious about the future memories, and too sad over the ones past, I challenge each and every one of you, as well as myself, to love the present and experience the rest of your summer with joy and fun-filled memories... The more I think the preview for the movie 500 Days of Summer seems to be something that will make it on my list of things to do and bring my summer to a nice and reminiscing close of the past, present, and future summers.

Okay, I do not know how many of you have seen this video or not, but it is great! They were asked to redo the dance on the Today Show. I saw it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and decided I should share it with all of you... It will definitely get you moving, smiling, and singing the song all day. :)... Enjoy!

Nathan and Suzanne Wedding

Well, oh well, many of you know that we have been closed for a week and a half due to on-location portraits this summer...  We just got back in town from the beach in Galveston, Texas.  I want all of you to be looking forward because shortly, I will be posting some images from our shoots there at the beach.  

Until then, I wanted to share with all of you some gorgeous wedding images from a wedding before we went out of town.  I know many of you are still wanting to see some of Suzanne's full-length bridal shots and have asked about them... Do not worry, I promised and I will hold to my word... I am just going to make you have to suffer a little bit longer. :)  .. Happy Fourth and More Fabulous Images!

Hey Everyone!  I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July!...  I just shot a beautiful couple.  They have two gorgeous daughters as well, but decided to keep this session simple when they took these portraits in honor of their wedding anniversary.  You could definitely tell the love they shared for each other!  

For their session, we decided to take it back to the basics and to emulate a "first date" with the two of them, by taking a visit to the "park" or to their greenbelt I should say.  And yes, we ran on the playground, swung on the swings, slid down the slide, and had tons of fun!  What better way to capture fabulous images while having a blast?...  

Cathy thank you and your husband,  for allowing us to capture the love the two of you share and what has kept the two of you together all of these years!  Congratulations on your anniversary, I pray for many more years of God's blessings in your life together, and I cannot wait to share with the two of you all of your breath-taking images from this fun-filled session!
