Merry Christmas and Happy New Year: May we celebrate the true meaning of the Christmas Season.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
                                                                                                            John 3:16

That son, was Jesus and even though he was not born on Christmas day, we celebrate Christmas in remembrance of his birth.

And this is how it all started.
"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"--which means, "God with us."
                                                                                                             Matthew 1:23
And then He was born.
"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
                                                                                                             Isaiah 9:6
"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."
                                                                                                             Luke 2:11

And since He was born.
For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
                                                                                                            Roman 10:13

All we need do is to ask him to forgive us and to invite him to be a part of our lives.  He has paid the ultimate sacrifice by dying on the cross so that we might go to heaven and have the gift of eternal life.  He offers it to us freely.  All He asks us is to do is to believe in Him.
"Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved."
                                                                                                             Acts 16:31

Jesus I know I am a sinner and you are my only hope.  I know that it is only through you I can be saved.  I know you are God's son and that he sent you to this world to die for my sins on the cross so that I could go to heaven if I believe in you and ask you into my heart.

So, I ask you to come into my life and take over.  I surrender myself completely to you. I thank you for dying on the cross for me and I'm sorry and ask you to forgive me of all of my sins.  I accept the gift of eternal life you are offering to me and I desire to have a relationship with You.  Please, come and live within my heart today.  Amen.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast."
                                                                                                             Ephesians 2:8-9

..."I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."
                                                                                                             John 14:6

"And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
                                                                                                             Acts 2:21

"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
                                                                                                             Hebrews 11:19

Jake Netherton, STUCO President: Senior 2011

As STUCO President many of you from Westmoore High School may recognize Jake!  He is in front and behind the scenes to many of the things that the WHS Senior Class of 2011 gets to be a part of and experience!  Countless hours are put in by the students with these roles and great appreciation and thankfulness should be paid for all of their hardwork every year!  As this school year is almost half way through, remember to thank your STUCO and Class officers as they are the ones that try and make all of the fun things happen each year like School Dances, Pep Rallies, Prom, Senior Cookout, Senior Banquet, and too many others to name...  Thank you Jake for representing WHS (I'm a former Jag myself!) with pride and great character!  There should be more young men like you out there! :)

Another Senior Faces' Model: Bailey Huckeby

I know everyone is dying to know and ask, "Is that her own motorcycle?"  ...Yes!  This is her motorcyle! ;)  This beautiful girl goes to WHS and has been wonderful to get to know.  I think I want to make-up excuses to go see her even after her senior portraits are completely done, just so I can play with her two puppies whom I have fallen completely in love with. ;)  Don't worry, she knows...  I kid her about it everytime I see her! ;)  In all seriousness, just as much as I love her puppies, I love her too; she is a way beautiful girl and I can't wait to see and hear how amazing at being a teacher I know she will be after college! ;)

Abbey McNeill: Senior 2010

This incredibly gorgeous young lady graduated last year from highschool.  She found us on facebook from some of her friends' pictures and decided to give us a call.  As soon as we talked, we hit it off, not only is she SO sweet, but she has a great sense of style and is a joy to be around!  This year she is attending Baylor University and I know they are keeping her incredibly busy!  We get a chance to meet up with here when she comes into town, to catch up on her first experiences at college life and look at her senior portraits, but it's hard to wait to see her every time and we can't wait to see which image becomes her favorite!  She definitely has a tough job ahead of her, deciding out of all of the amazing ones she has to choose from...  Thank you Abbey for becoming our friend! :)...  We will see soon pretty girl! :)

Cate Strider: Southmoore Highschool Senior

Many of you know that we are and have been in FULL swing with Senior Portraits!  Of course, they keep us very, very busy, but every session is ALWAYS a blast!  Every senior brings something different to the table, which I love! :)  This one of our 2010-2011 Senior Faces' Models, Caitlyn Strider.  She is definitely a blonde bombshell! :)  We had a blast photographing her with a very outdoorsy feel with trees, tall grass, wood, wood and more wood, and water.  She had it all with every color of outfit from black to white...  A great selection in my opinion! :)  The BEST part about her session was that we actually got to photograph her, ON HER BIRTHDAY! :)...  WHAT A BIRTHDAY PRESENT!?! :)  I mean, I LOVE birthdays and especially when you get to celebrate them MORE than one day!  :)  So, Cate, we hope that you had a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY and can't wait to see what your gorgeous magazine is going to look like with the images you choose. :)
